Yep. The last guy I dated sure acted like a boyfriend and treated me like a girlfriend. But he never asked me to be his girlfriend. He didn’t want to even say we were dating. It was lame. And then he dumped me. Or, we stopped hanging out, since I guess we were never dating. 🤔 Whatever.

My boyfriend asked me to be his girlfriend. I suspect had you truly been smitten with any of those women and didn’t want to lose them you’d have done the same.

There’s no guarantees. There’s no 100% foolproof plan to get who you want, since people aren’t things and also have free will. Doing all the things I suggest greatly increase the chances of ending up with a better match who’s genuinely interested.
