Thanks, Divad! Most of this advice can go both ways. Sunglasses, SnapChat filters, group shots, and memes are all shitty choices for anyone’s profile pic.

Honestly, the best advice for dudes (and probably ladies) is to have a lady friend look at your profile. I’ve enlightened more than one dude as to why their profile was failing. They didn’t think they looked mean in their non-smiling, mean looking pictures. Sometimes a little outside perspective is all you need.

And I agree, Katie Dutch is so super talented! I love her work so much. :)
