It’s $5 a month, not $5 a day, or even a week! Most Comedy open mics in LA charge comedians min $5 to perform and/or require you to buy a drink to get on stage (same dif). That adds up FAST. And we get NOTHING in return. When I get paid to do a show the LEAST I can do is buy a drink. That’s all the MPP is, man. They’ll pay us for our creativity, we just gotta buy them a drink. One drink! A month! Cheapest date ever. 😂
