If you’re a company looking for a new CEO you don’t hire the first person who applies for the job. You hold interviews. Then you hold second interviews. You take the time to narrow it down until you feel you’ve found the best candidate for the position and THEN you offer them the job.

Dating is that process. It’s not a love avoidant lifestyle, it’s how you find your best match. There’s nothing unethical about it when you’re honest and upfront about it. Being a sneaky lying manipulator gives dating a bad rep.

Dating one person exclusively at a time is a recipe for heartache, disaster and wasted time. Just like hiring a person for job and testing them out instead of interviewing for the best candidate is a recipe for the same.

But hey, if serial monogamy hasn’t repeatedly broken your heart, crushed your will, sent you into depression, or made you feel desperate to cling to the next one and only, if you’ve had tons of success with it and are happily coupled up with the love of your life, then enjoy!
