And they attract the most shallow, insecure AKA jealous women who start dating them and decide they need better jobs (AKA change them) because these shallow chicks want more money and status, time off to travel to THEIR favorite destinations, and to keep them away from all these other women. And they won't want to tell mom & dad or their other friends they're dating a "bartender." Lemme tell you how many times I've seen it happen.

You don't have to WORK in the service industry to have a social life and get dates. Just, ya know... have a social life. Get to be friends with the cool cats who work at the cool bars and then you can have all the benefits without the shitty hours, overtime and register stress.

I was a regular at one of the most popular bars/live music venues in town. The place could be packed to the gills with both owners slinging drinks behind the bar, and I'd walk in the back door, they'd see me and yell, "Niki! What can I make you?" =)

Be a cool person, LEAVE YOUR HOUSE, spend time at places with other cool people where cool stuff happens, and the magic follows.
